As I took the time to follow president Nelson’s call for women to study the priesthood, these words by President Packer began to transform from just words into truth. I have learned that as a covenant keeping women and mothers, the heavens are open to me. They are on my side, ready and waiting to help. I have the power to call upon them to bless and protect my family. To ask them to guide us to higher paths and help us grow.
As a mother who has recently given birth to her second child and found myself drowning in twice the mom anxiety, nothing has brought me more peace in motherhood than becoming acquainted with my priesthood power and knowing how to call upon it. I hope this piece brings you a sense of power, and fills you with confidence as you continue in your divine role of motherhood.
